Thanks to his timeless, soulful sound, Kenny Sharp has worked his way into the hearts and minds of legions of fans, captivating with his thoughtful imagery and powerful storytelling.

Renowned for his storytelling ability, Sharp has worked with many artists including rapper and producer Lunchmoney Lewis. Back in October of last year, Sharp’s single, “Fall in Love” was featured in an episode of the hit show, Grey’s Anatomy. Now based in Washington D.C., he also frequents LA, Miami, and Nashville for music gigs and writing sessions. 

Comfort and nostalgia can be an incredibly powerful thing. I say that because while I get amped up when a super divergent piece of music comes across my electronic desk, having that mindset can (only) can make you miss artistic comfort and awe.

Kenny Sharp has an incredible vocal sound! His latest single ‘Renege’ really demonstrates his vocal ability. Kenny’s talent does not end there, with his mastering of the guitar and lyrics writing ability is admirable. Written about heart break after his uncle John asked him if he had had his heart broken and when Kenny said ‘yes’, his uncle said ‘Good’. Heartbreak does build one’s character that is for sure. ‘Renege’ means to go back on one’s word, and sure does relate to heartbreak. Check out ‘Renege’ now!
